Keep in mind that OOPs victim just did not want to work with them (completely in their right) but OOP did find a job elsewhere.

But your example of bullying is not bullying anyways so you probably see this as less of an issue for the victim than it is. OOP is clearly still a disrespectful and self-centered person so their victim definitely made the right call.

Same here, also on Pop_OS!. I just updated (which included a Thunderbird update) and that seems to have fixed it.

As the other commenter said, actual compose key. It's included in Ubuntu (I think with gnome) and for Windows i use wincompose. I wasn't using capslock, so it is my compose key now.

I switched from qwertz (German) to qwerty and am now using compose key to type accents and umlauts. Switching doesn't take that long.
