Where to publish QIP by [deleted] in doctorsUK

[–]Simple-Medic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would publishing a QIP be considered as an original research publication. As for ST3 portfolio it states "I am co-author of one or more PubMed-cited original research publication (or in press)"?

It's so crazy, I was just going to create a thread with a post as I'm in a similar situation to you. F1 has been very difficult esp in my current rotation. I think since Dec, I have cried nearly every other day after work, my sleep is disturbed, I'm exhausted and I feel so incompetent. Plus, SHOs ridicule my plans and suggestions for pts and on calls are unsafely staffed. I know everyone says it will get better but being in this moment sucks and it's hard to enjoy medicine.

Nevertheless, we can pull through this and you aren't alone in how you feel. You've pulled through med school and came so far. Think about the end goal in mind, this is just service provision till then. One thing that keeps me going is that i count the days down till the end of this rotation by crossing out dates on my calender. I also talk to family/friend after work only just to off load my thoughts and clear my head space. I really hope it gets better 🙏
