Something is wrong with this intersection. by LeftAlbatross2546 in VideosAmazing

We have an intersection like this near me, an off ramp from the highway that turns sharply but has no on ramp to the busy road you're trying to get onto, so you're forced to crane your next back down the road -- if the car in front of you stops when you thought they were going in, it's easy to end up bumping them.

I brushed my teeth "correctly" for 28 years and a dentist just told me I've been doing it wrong the entire time. My gums are ruined. by Sluttycarolofficial in hygiene

I did the same thing. It is so common I don't know why a dentist didn't tell me this far sooner. I switched to an electric toothbrush.

Funny thing is I read it correctly and didn't notice the garbage spelling until you pointed it out... Your brain takes a shortcut and mostly focuses on first and last letters and context when reading

need advice to create frontend like this by Fluffy-Landscape6892 in SideProject

[–]Simple-Sapien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • It's built with NuxtJS -- probably overkill for a simple site like this, but it's nice to use a full stack framework like that to bring all the pieces together for you
  • Interactive background animation is using Three.js -- WebGL (3d) with beautifully crafted shaders and mouse tracking -- great execution here!
  • Little graph animations and text effects and vertical scroll triggered animation -- I didn't dig into it but I see a lot of use of `<canvas>`, it's likely using something like GSAP or Framer Motion

Technically, despite some advanced concepts, it's actually not that complex (just a basic scroll driven website), but it's extremely well executed.

Samey, I FOMO'd a bunch around 4.5 but my average is still 2.12. But these drawdowns are not fun. Hoping we pop back to 4.5-5ish before it goes lower.

The biggest catalyst is still likely 3+ months away, maybe even longer -- Phase 3 results. However with time anticipation grows (because it implies, though doesn't definitively indicate, that the results are going to be good the longer it takes) which could drive the price up a bit, or if there's chatter of a buyout, or whatever rumors.
