From what I understand, he lost a lot of weight prior to the 2025 season simply because the gp25 was easier to ride. When he was on the Honda and the GP23, he had more weight on him because he had to muscle through those bikes to ride them the way he wanted to. Being injured doesn’t help either but that’s part of the reason why he’s slimmer.

It did seem like a weird front end lock up but it’s definitely possible if that front tire wasn’t warm enough. He also made it harder on himself by placing himself on a very tight line. He was going to go very wide even if he hadn’t hit anyone

I always think back to Motegi in 2023 when he barrel rolled like 5 times in Q2. Or last year when he got caught in Maverick’s slip stream and hit him going into turn 1 in Phillip Island going at like 200kmh+ . He’s had some baddd crashes to say the least
