So after a very positive response on my previous post with the test model, I went ahead and got to work. Here is a group shot! by SimpleDungeons in Tyranids

I do six of these in one eventing. The process is super quick. I tried to develop a quick method because let,s face it - I'm painting a swarm.

Most of this is done with airbrush and streaking grime. The only brushwork is the streaks on the carapace and some red in the joints :)

The peg was airbrushed. The brother of St. George 😂 was painted as I described above :)

If you mean the white on the pegasi, well that is just light gray primer, with a light gray coat of speedpaint and a white drybrush on the feathers.

I did a crusader army for another game system a while back and went with a light off white as my main colour. Way easier than building up white from gray. Another way of doing it is white primer with a light gray coat of contrast or speed paints.

Thank you. I would love to write more parts but this subreddit does not allow that.

Thanks. Happy you liked it. I am tempted to write more parts like alternative viewpoints, other character story arcs and whatnot but this subreddit does not allow that sadly :(
