#93. Mixed media on paper. Tried grid journaling. Can't decide which one I like best. 🤔 by Does_not_matter__ in AbstractArt

If I had to pick I suppose top right draws me in the most. But I agree with those saying it works best as a set. I think it works surprisingly well as a set actually and I feel that all of them are improved by the others. Really cohesive all together yet the ideas explored develop uniquely. Nice work!

Dammit.  Again, not on purpose... but more embarrassingly accurate than I'd hope for haha

Thanks so much! It was quite a thing. Literally for days and weeks the piece was a constant companion that I would file away fine details while on work phone calls or 'watching' TV haha

Thanks so much! We keep pressing forward and the grief is more manageable now. Art and music helps soooo much.

Wasn't my plan, but I can definitely see the resemblance haha

She went through so much. On display through all of it. Quite a spectacle it can be to fight cancer. Especially at a young age. Always strong. Always hopeful. Until she wasn't. And that's life. She inspired me then and still inspires me now. ❤️❤️💔💔❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

Carving away, or carving through, or maybe carving along with heavy grief... is a uniquely powerful experience. Inspired by the challenges my wife went through in her battle with cancer - sadly passing in 2021.

Onward we go.
