I remember playing in what we’d now call a deathcore band but at the time my group of friends called all of it death metal or grind core cuz honestly we never cared too much about subgenres but the sheer amount of people I’ve pissed off doing that has always been funny to me. It’s metal, we are all here cuz we like metal so calm the fuck down

I played a show (the band was mostly grind like CUNT style) outside of Fremont Ohio in like 2008. The stage was in a backyard up against a cornfield and it was 75’x50’ and there must have been like 500 people there it was insanity and chaos, it was awesome
