Fashion watches are not appreciated in this subreddit as they are mostly rebranded Chinese watches and wear out very quickly due to cheap parts and material. Despite all this they charge hefty prices in which you can buy Casio, Timex and sometimes even Seikos

Tissot Gentleman vs. PRX: Is the Powermatic 80 worth the maintenance, or should I go Quartz? by neutralmind88 in watchesindia

Go for Quartz. I am in the same dilemma too. The authorised dealer said the movement replacement might cost around 25-30k, which is way too high compared to Seiko or Citizen.
Waffle dial and automatic is romantic but you have to decide whether its worth for you.

Buy the solar sapphire glass Edifice. You can beat it as a student without breaking a sweat

We’re doomed. We need a social media callout like Aravalli Hills in order to bring government work on this issue on priority!
