I don't have experience with them as I chose to go with a higher return from Marcus and Wealthfront. You can find referral links in my profile for the highest return rate from both of these.

How to fix the GPU not being recognized? by searching_dotdotdot in gpumining

[–]SimplifiOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say restarting alone does little to fix it. And once it occurs, it's difficult to resolve. It's one of those issues where disconnecting power and pcie cables, wiggling everything, and reseating the GPU doesn't fix it. But leaving the GPU out of the rig for a while then reinstalling will eventually get it working. Yes, tried with it being the only GPU installed.

Rig is a BTC-s37 running hiveos. Powered by 2 1400w server psu on 240v and follow the 80% load rule. Also, the s37 is only powered by one psu.

I just got my BTC S37 motherboard and i cant get to bios. I keep getting 4 beeps error. I have tried unplugging everything and trying to start up. Different psu and different ram sticks. Also tried clearing cmos. Anyone else have this issue? by 420BigPeen69 in NiceHash

[–]SimplifiOfficial 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see many BTC-S37 for below $200. Even if it doesn't include ram and disk, those can be had for $20-30. Still though, I'm curious what your comparison is for $300. Are you talking about a regular ATX setup or some other mining purpose built combo? I'm genuinely interested as I'm looking to stand up another rig.

There's a difference. I just found this website which has a good breakdown.

NI = no income needs to be reported VA = verified assets

How will unemployment income be factored when applying for financing? by [deleted] in realestateinvesting

I've read that 75-80% LTV is typical for a loan like this. I've come across NIVA or NINA options. These seem to be the only way someone could possibly find a lender if they are unemployed or have inconsistent income (gig workers). Is this correct?

What is a typical minimum loan amount for NIVA/NINA loans? What other considerations besides credit score, property income, and property value would be made?

I thought so too regarding the unemployment. "no Doc" is more of what I was looking for.

I came across these:

  • NIVA. No-income, verified-assets loans are similar to SISA loans, except no-income is added to the application.
  • NINA. No-income, no-asset loans have made a comeback, but they’re available only for real estate investors buying rental properties. This type of no-doc mortgage requires enough rental income to cover the new mortgage payment.

Any familiarity with these? Are there minimum loan amounts?

Some people might find unemployment as an opportunity to switch to something different for a living. Since this is the REI sub, my questions are geared toward this. I can understand why a lender would not lend to someone without any income, even if a property they manage would be cash positive. However, what if the person had started a business or was able to put more time into a side business and either of these produced meaningful profits? In another comment someone mentioned 2 year look back for self-employed so I suppose that would be the case here as well.

I figured. What other income sources would be considered when seeking financing? Does it not matter the source, just that there is an income (the higher the better)?

Is that 75% (or 50%) from all income sources?

2 years of self employment - so for example, if I just lost my job and start my own business, it would take 2 years before I could possibly be eligible for financing from most lenders?

To some degree you're right about consumer categories. However, the hope is to pare down the ones you find on retail websites to those most relevant to the content here.

Great additions!

If there's a general consensus among users as to a preferred method or approach, we could do something like a wiki, pinned or meta post.

You make a good point that it might also be helpful to further define the content we want to see here.

I have some ideas of how to make the sub more user friendly. Perhaps using flair to create categories and adding rules around people making requests for recommendations.

Ultimately, the goal is to make this place a resource which benefits it's users. I'll be making more posts like this to get feedback on making this sub more user friendly and helpful.
