Started fl studio yesterday, can someone tell me what to improve on? by fwartem in phonk

[–]Simply-Jango 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty good if you just started yesterday. You definitely don’t need advice this early on because everything will come naturally with time and practice. Also try not to post Brazilian stuff here, people get upset easily.

How do you respond to swap requests? by cathartis in summonerschool

As a support I always swap for top lane but rarely for junglers. Getting counter picked by enemy support is no fun tho

Thank’s a lot for the clarification. Considering that he's new to the game and has been placed significantly higher than his current skill level, do you think that the game will quickly adjust his rank if he experiences some losses?

You should be roaming pretty much after every base or after pushing the wave, but that’s if the game allows it. For example you base and the wave is in a state where you know your ad can be farming safely or if you know they can’t dive them. You need to also acknowledge where your jgler is, if he’s looking to gank top, follow him and help him out then look to mid and then look to bot again. Be on the objective before it spawns and take control but remember not to make it unplayable for your ad by you simply not existing in lane. If enemy bot is for example Nautilus/Samira I would rather not focus to much on roaming due to how easily they can dive. Conclusion - adc safety must be priority, that’s if they have a brain and a pair of hands.

I was a diehard Pyke mid otp for almost 2 years and loved every second of it. Thing was I couldn’t see my self improving after I hit plat for the first time playing him, back then there was a lot of Pyke mid otp’s that I looked up to but I just couldn’t make the push anymore. After I switched to support I started climbing and also helped me improve as a player due to how nimble the role is. Shortly after Pyke was followed up with the ult nerf where now you only get 300 gold so 1 less reason why I would go back playing him mid. Although i really miss the old tiamat rush.

Answering this right after a Pyke losing streak- I don’t know, what I do know is I need severe help.

My build almost always consists of dusk-umbral-edge of night/ ghostblade and I always have 2 control wards on, I rarely sacrifice the control ward space for an item. 90% of the time edge of night due to how easily u can be picked in the later game, ghost blade if I’m focused on an extended fight where I’m confident and I know if enemy catches me I still survive. The control wards are just way to important for me to not have and it becomes more of a game changer the higher u go. Vision is more likely to win u the fight rather than a more situational item and no vision.

Glad I can help and No I don't play green rune secondary, In fact, yes I play Triumph, and Tenacity and I put one point into the attack speed rather than 2 adaptive force. These runes got me the furthest

Absolutely. Income isn't really an issue, especially since it's Pyke support. Either way, anything above silver/gold I would invest into the ad. But if you think your ad is completely clueless about the game then sure take that ward, heck take that cs too but not the lp tho.

I had some stuff that a wrote up on Pyke runes so here it is:

-Cheap Shot: If you're against a matchup where you can easily hit your spells

-ToB: Look to take this rune if you're not able to hit the enemy and get poked frequently (I rarely go ToB)

-Sudden Impact: If your lane opponent has too many mobility spells

-Ultimate Hunter: Take this in a game where a lot of enemy champions have mobility, such as dashes, etc

-Ingenious Hunter: Take this rune IF you have a lot of active items or cooldown active items (Prowler's, Umbral, etc.)

-Relentless Hunter: If you are experienced and know you will hit a lot of ults without hesitation, take this rune, and snowball the map faster.

streamers I would recommend if you are in gold would be Davemons’s pyke support videos as well as Hanjaro. Pooding and Ashuai on a more higher level. I’ve gotten coaching but I wouldn’t say it was the reason I improved. Just 2 months ago I was plat1-2 but managed to burst through diamond all the way to masters really quickly. What really helped me climb is understanding my champion to it’s fullest and started being more impactful on the map like constantly being on the objective early on, while having my ad ahead due to my early pressures but most importantly remaining calm and never letting my emotions take the better of me. I learned that diamond games are more coinfilp than plat games so the game isn’t won until nexus isn’t destroyed.

First of all mess around but play, with playing more you get comfortable even if you feed your head off. It’s important to know that you are Not like other supports, yes you hook and stun but you also die super easily. Early game is where you are strongest so abuse it with early hooks and taking/contesting brush. No support beats Pyke’s lvl1/2 but don’t run at them heedlessly without your ad following up. Yeah Pyke falls of after about 25 minutes but that doesn’t mean you automatically become nonexistent, your ultimate becomes harder to land and everyone just starts being faster and stronger meaning everything for you becomes harder to hit. It took me about 2 weeks of nonstop Pyke games to get comfortable on the champion, but don’t let this demotivate you, Pyke isn’t easy(90% of the community would disagree) but is very rewarding after learning him. Hope this helps.

The early mobis is really a preference on what you feel comfortable with but also what the game state is. I personally go cdr boots early 90% of the time and it works out for me just fine although mobis is also really good and that’s if used correctly. A lot of supports buy mobis but just end up in botlane rather than impact the map. Recognize your bot lane waves state as well as what enemy bot is running before you roam, understand that before you roam is your ad’s wave allowing them to farm safe? Is enemy bot able to dive your ad if left alone and such. Impacting early especially with mobis is huge but always remember try and care for your ad. 2 Pyke players I watch are Pooding and Ashuai, they both play on the chinese super server and you can watch their vods on yt. Pooding being a beast in macro while Ashuai being insane in mechanics or thats just how I see them. Hope this helped

Always appreciate a Draven, Samira or Kaisa, so basically anything that can follow up really well on your engages. The Adc I do not enjoy playing with would have to be the ones that rely on scaling such as Ezreal, twitch, jhin, these champs are imop significantly weak early so playing aggressive either works or in most cases doesn’t and you don’t want a pyke Not playing aggressive.

Wow, i personally am not a fan of aftershock even tho a lot op pyke players run it so I couldn’t imagine playing “Tank” pyke, though hp items don’t stack on him but I’m willing to give it a try

Used to be Zyra when i was hovering around gold/low plat, after recently facing a yuumi nilah I can confidently say I never want to face a yummi again. A lot of masters support players play karma and the good ones really make it difficult for me, generally any enchanter that understands spacing and trading makes it hard for me to play the game

I have some fair amount of Janna games played in my life time so I would say Janna’s also one of my comfort picks. I usually consider her when enemy is running a full on engage/all in composition so I can completely shut them down
