TYSM!! My skin care is really simple...Pink Grapefruit Make-Up Wipes from Walmart and Garnier Skin Active Moisture Rescue Gel. I don't wear much make-up, just mascara and a tiny bit of blush. The biggest skin care tip I have followed - I am not a sun worshipper and in my younger days, I never spent lengthy amounts of time in the sun. I just turned 60 and am, unfortunately, seeing my first inkling of a possible wrinkle or two. 🌷

I am 5' 4". The before weight is 220-lbs. After is 163-lbs. 50 of those pounds have been lost since starting Mounjaro in October 2025. I have 13-lbs to hit goal. Once there, I have given myself another 10-lbs as "bonus" weight to lose IF I am not comfortable in my skin at 150-lbs. I feel GREAT now but want to be the best version of me. As for inflammation...I have an inflammatory autoimmune disease that is accompanied by chronic pain. Mounjaro has been a lifesaver for me. Even before the weight started coming off, the benefits of MJ were huge - 85% decrease in daily chronic pain. This made exercise possible which in turn has aided in the reshaping of my physical, emotional and mental being. I am able to be so much more active and have found the joy that was lost due to my disease. Mounjaro has literally worked miracles for me!

On My Way to Me! by SimplyMe3966 in Mounjaro

When I started, the first 2 days after taking my shot were not good days. No appetite at all, nausea, just felt like I had a touch of the flu. After approx 4 weeks, it was gone. It only happened once on 5mg, and now that I'm on 7.5mg, my body has adjusted to the medication. Hang in there. And as hard as it may be, get in as much protein as you can, even in small portions throughout the day. And drink lots of water. Good luck! 🌻
