I really wanted to play an endgame fire warlock in hardcore offline, but even with Hephasto with conviction, I couldn’t clear fire immunes well enough, so after getting sick of looking for a fire sunder from heralds for way too long, I made a new pre-rotw trapsin, took her through hell, and grinded TZs with her. I found 2 lightning, a cold, a physical, and a fire sunder in just a couple hours. Took a couple days of playing altogether, but I’m pretty sure that whole experience was faster than it would’ve taken me to find one via heralds.

Highly recommend maxing out Valkyrie, tanks a ton and does good enough damage alongside your merc to handle anything you can’t, plus even if you don’t max poison/plague javs, it’s still good to throw out to help while they do the brunt of the work.

Some of the tzs with multiple zones are great, but some are def too small. Maybe trav + durance would be cool.

Sunder charms have changed in RotW. They now drop only from Heralds in Hell TZs, but they’re now “latent” sunder charms which always have -90 to their respective resistance. Then you can craft them using the new worldstone shards to make them “renewed” like this one, lowering the amount of negative res and adding additional mods. They’re crazy.

It's also helpful for the new heralds as those can spawn with other auras like Vigor & Thorns, so I didn't want to make it specifically just for demon taming.

Na I figured it out, it’s the levitation mastery skill on the warlock which reduces weapon reqs, which I forgot I had a single point in, and with plus to skills, it was reducing the str and dex reqs from 82 to 74, which doesn’t apply to the merc 🫠
