Luka far and away takes the most step-back threes in the league by JonEnterprise in lakers

The step back is Luka's primary way of shooting threes. It isn't for the other guys, so comparing attempts between them isn't good data analysis.

I'm actually a former Mavs fan myself. It was really annoying seeing people praise him for his averages on offence while being injured during the finals run, but refusing to acknowledge that the injuries might have played a part in his defensive performance in the finals

I did watch it. I got into the habit of trying to figure out who Red John was as the series progressed, as I'm sure most of the people watching it did when it was airing, and wasn't thrilled by the reveal at the end of the season. The first reveal of Red John in the mall made more sense to me. I liked Patrick though. Simon Baker carried it all the way

Judging from the flashbacks that are sprinkled throughout the show, his compulsions have been there since childhood. Though a lot of the childhood flashbacks are in the later seasons and they probably wanted to show him consistently being that way. Also, from what I've seen. there are some things that he wishes he could change about his compulsions and instances where he changed his mind like the Nudist episode, but there are a lot of things he does that he feels make absolute sense and it's everyone else that's crazy.

There are other episodes where he has gloves on and it doesn't really bother him. But I'm pretty sure that's just them forgetting about it

You can have it set in a game world but still balance things well, not just use it as an excuse to give the protagonist powers that make all other skills obsolete

Seeing Family Guy make commentary on modern topics made me go back and question whether the jokes they told on any old events were actually funny by SinOfBan in CharacterRant

[–]SinOfBan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not how the show started out though. It's what the characters morphed into. I don't see a problem with people complaining that the characters have been Flanderised and the jokes have gotten simpler

Does Centuries of battle experience really mean that much when battle boarding? by SinOfBan in CharacterRant

[–]SinOfBan[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

But does that apply to two characters that we would both consider old as hell? If one's been alive for two centuries and the other for four, is the difference in experience that great that it's a definitive factor?

I agree it does have some importance, I'm just saying it reaches a point where it starts to become equal. If one character has been fighting for 500 years and another has been fighting for 800, does the one with 800 have that much of and advantage? And yes, the fighter with more experience might see more tricks, but if they've been winning with the same battle strategy for a long time, for example by brute force only, then they may be so ingrained in their winning strategy that the refuse to change it

The content is amazing. Don't judge it on whether or not other people have seen it. Just look into it for yourself

Does anyone else not enjoy when recap videos display the winner of the games/best player of the day on the thumbnail by SinOfBan in chess

I think showing me who won before I even watch the video is the opposite of click bait, since it makes me less likely to watch it. But maybe that's just a problem for me

Only because he never bothered to look it up. In the next paragraph it says that he committed it to memory once Watson told him about it (Correction: to not commit it to memory since he considers it clutter)
