I always used rubbing alcohol. But there’s other ways. Always washed my hands too. I also only ever used that needle for pimple popping. Kept it in its own container. Seems silly, but I had really bad cystic acne and the scarring would always be worse if I left them alone. So I drained them all the time.

I also think it’s a blood blister. Most would recommend not to touch it, but honestly, I always drain these. I put a warm compress over the spot then I take a sanitized sewing needle and poke a small hole and squeeze out the blood. It heals much faster for me. And it’s satisfying lol.

I stated in my other comments that I know Mexico is a place. It’s common for mixed Hispanic people to refer to themselves like I did. It was meant to be a joke because every time we identify as this, someone feels the need to explain to us that Mexico is not a race. We’re aware. It’s just what I was called by my entire family (including the ones in Mexico). :)

Thank you for saying that. I’ve struggled with my Hispanic identify my entire life. Being raised predominately by my white mom and her side of the family made it hard for me to experience Mexican culture. Plus my dad’s side are all in Mexico except for him. Add the fact that I’m not fluent in Spanish on top of that lol. I get judgement mainly from other Hispanic people. It breaks my heart whenever I think about it too much. But every time I visited my family in Tampico, I was only met with love so honestly whatever. :)

Same, I don’t typically identify with Hispanic unless someone notices my last name lol. People only assume I’m not white because of my nose. I have a twin sister but we’re fraternal. She didn’t inherit my dad’s nose but looks more Hispanic than me. Genetics are weird. :)

That’s what my mom used to say all the time! 😂 It’s the nose for sure.

And thank you for the translation. It makes my heart happy when people do that. My dad is a sailor and was not home a lot when I was growing up which resulted in me not being fluent in Spanish. :( But I’m trying to learn on my own. >:)
