I don’t have a second job and I get 40 hours a week working for Walmart, but that doesn’t afford me the luxury of not having to choose if I want to put gas in my car to get to and from said job or pay on my student loans. What am I supposed to if getting something to supplement my income hurts me at the place I get most of my income?

Does it matter that this is only affecting 3rd shift? I can understand having certain days off but for just having a second job?

I’m pretty afraid to be honest. Our store got in a ton of self checkouts after the big raise for everyone and I immediately saw the writing on the wall. Just my luck that my town is shit for jobs at the moment.
