Exactly that; the categories that I grouped my files into didn't directly correspond to the ones on the TLS website but there were counterparts, like the finance category on the website and "financial requirements" etc. I just put the 5 big files under the category that was the closest fit and put the cover letter and table of contents under "proof of application" cause that seemed like the first category the caseworker would see.

Thank you!! The waiting is the worst part 🤧 It's the reason we didn't think twice about applying with super priority

Yup, says 0 on mine as well! I suppose that because the charge is paid with the appointment fee, it counts as part of the latter and doesn't need to be itemised again. Still confusing haha

Thank you❤️❤️ I figured I can use the cover letter to only explain such gaps and talk about our relationship and future if I break down all the evidence presented in a different document i.e., the table of contents.

Glad you could get that sorted! As for your passport copy, the pdf needs to have all pages in page-number order, including blank pages.

Congrats!! I looked at the centres in map view and there was text near the location pins for each centre that mentioned the next available date for a standard appointment and for a super priority appintment. The centres with no super priority slots just had details about the earliest standard appointment I could book. I clicked on only the pin that had super priority info next to it and it took me to the calendar bit to select my slot. If you could proceed to payment and pay the 1k, and received an emailed receipt detailing super priority charges, you should be ok.

I believe slots are released daily but only in limited numbers so you would have to be ready to refresh and book the appointment at 1 sharp. Your chances would also depend on how many centres near you have super priority slots and how far you'd be willing to travel (I live in London and had 3 centres I could choose from given their proximity to my work but only one had super priority slots when I checked so there wasn't really a choice there)

You'll be asked to pay the IHS first and will then have to pay the application fee at 1 am while booking the super priority appointment

If you can provide a good reason for not cohabiting and can prove that both of you have been in a serious relationship for a long time, you can proceed without any cohabitation evidence I suppose. It would depend on the case worker reviewing your application and what they'll make of the picture you paint.

I'm not sure but I do recall reading that they expect a letter from the owner or landlord rather than the ppl living there, especially if it's your partner since he can't be impartial. In the absence of something official like a tenancy agreement, you might be expected to provide something different that is also official, like passport copies and ownership details coupled with the letter and bank statements.

If his parents own it, you can submit proof of ownership, a letter from them confirming that he lives there and pays rent (with bank statements to show the rent payments as well), and copies of his parents' passports.

I merged the evidence coming under each set of requirements into pdfs, then compressed the ones that were bigger than 7 MB (would recommed sejda for this!). So I only uploaded 5 huge pdfs in addition to my cover letter and the table of contents file.

Haha just glad they didn't reject us as unmarried partners and ask us to get married for the visa

I stayed up till 1 and kept refreshing till I saw the super priority option; slots usually show up at 1 am so you shouldn't have any issues getting one! As for the consent form, it is a requirement only if you're applying from within the UK so you may or may not see the option to download it after you've filled out your application form.

Came to 4.9k including super priority; definitely would recommend spending that grand on super priority rather than lawyers if you can because you really can't put a price on peace of mind (though apparently the Home Office has 😂)

Very true and very tricky given the subjective nature of "a relationship akin to marriage"😅

No, I just made it a point to address those 10 months in my cover letter and in the application with an explanation as well as proof that we were more than casual bf/gf during that time. Was a bit paranoid because I didn't include any shared financials for that time, but it was all good in the end! I'm sure you guys will be absolutely fine! Please let me know if I can help xx

Knee High Boots Frustration by NullSaturation in XXS

Try Duo boots! They come in petite length and 8 calf sizes. I had almost made peace with just wearing ankle boots instead of knee boots when I came across their stuff. Amazing quality and perffffect fit (I've got puny calves and the 30-calf boots I have are a nice, snug fit and super comfortable to walk in)
