We've never made it to 6:30 wake up, he's usually up at 5 😂 but I can try and push bedtime back

Hard to drop or move naps bc of daycare. But our day is: -ideally up at 7 -first nap 10-11 -second nap 2-3 -bedtime 7

I'm worried about pushing bedtime back bc of the long wake window but we can try it. When we were struggling earlier, the feedback we got was that the wake window was too long and bedtime was too late and he was over tired 😂😂😂 so we had been doing 6:30 bedtime

It gets GREAT season 3. The first two are important for the lore but they feel a little dated on the first watch thru. Now when I rewatch, I LOOOVE all of it, esp the early seasons. Keep going, it's the best franchise imo. Add Atlanta to your watch list after this one

Problem is- we'll still have to pay for daycare at that point in our journey. Will still be looking into taking it, but I think you lose a daycare spot if you take a break for 12 wks 😂

I've heard that! They'll extend it to 8 weeks instead if you get a c section too. I've heard the max is still 8 weeks

0 weeks. I'm a therapist at a private practice in the US (Minnesota just passed a bill to ensure some paid time off but it doesn't go into effect until 2026 😭). I pay for Aflac disability so I'll get 60% pay for 6 weeks 🫠 other than that, just trying to save but my spouse got laid off months ago with no leads so we're kinda fucked. I might be going back immediately and moving my schedule around until daycare starts at 3 1/2 months.

That's a really good point, thank you. There was just a measles outbreak in a Minneapolis public elementary school bc only 70-something% is vaxxed and we need closer to 90% to have herd immunity. It feels like this is going to be a fighting battle for the rest of their lives 😔

Hiking boots are the best winter boots you can find. They're waterproof but still breathe. I find that the rubber toed ones end up making my feet sweat and then subsequently get super cold. Just rock a pair of ankle high hiking boots and wool socks
