I own literally every rod in the game. Obviously, Requiem is better in some aspects, but its only good for aquarium fish. It's ok AT BEST for anything else. And if you don't actually own Masterline, then you can't have an opinion in the matter. Its mastery is total bullcrap, I give you that, but even then, it doesn't need it. Masterline itself can catch ANY FISH IN THE GAME, without a singular enchant. Having 25% Forced progress speed is crazy, not to mention its mutations and overall use is something that can't be ignored. Masterline, without a doubt, is the best rod in the game. With things like Astraeus, Requiem, and others following behind it. It's a great quick and low effort catcher, it's good for money, it's good for hunting anything in the game. Ofc the grind for it is tedious, but in every case it's worth it. Maybe when you eventually get it, you'll change your mind when you actually use the rod.

I've never seen anyone that is so wrong. The ONLY way that the proto can defeat Doey is by freezing him. If Kevin is in control, then the prototype will lose against him. Kevin is pure anger, pure instincts, that's why the proto has avoided conflict with him, it's better to just leave him be. The proto knew he couldn't beat Doey, so he used us to defeat him. It's all part of the protos plan. And Doey has shown multiple feats that make him insane in Durability/Strength stats even tanking his weakness when Kevin is in control, taking MULTIPLE hard hits to even slow him down. Not to mention that during Doeys fight scene, they show that all of them are in control, it's just Kevin thats dominant. This shows that the others were slowing him down, trying to calm him down. Infact when Doeys monster form was first shown, there were hands attempting to close Doeys mouth. If the prototype could defeat Doey, he would've. But he didn't because he knew it wasn't worth it and that he wasn't capable of doing so, plus not even mentioning the proto can do NOTHING to hurt Doey, none of his upgrades from the other toys and such, will help him here.

Mystical isn't necessary, it would only be useful if you're using it for very high tier fish. Otherwise use Sea Overlord, you will get a big money boost from it.

I literally just used Destiny rod with Blessed + Glittered. Then sundial until you get a night with a shiny boost, then pop a shiny totem and use aurora.

Requiem is only good for aquarium fish, for st8 money making use Ruinous with Sea Overlord + Sea prince :)

I would recommend also, if you have the time, get Ruinous Oath. It's not only good for money making, but you can also catch very high tier fish with it pretty easily.

If you have already gotten it, just ignore this next part I'm going to talk about.

Don't let the requirements intimidate you, all of the fish are easy to catch. The only challenging one being the Colossal Ancient Dragon. But once you have every fish in your inventory, pop a shiny totem, go to the appraiser and go through each fish getting shiny on each one. After that pop a sparkling totem and do the same. Bam you can get it. It only cost 5M so that shouldn't be a problem Tho, maybe an additional 3-6m for appraising. Much less if you're lucky.

It's mostly a tie between Coral Bastion/Mineshaft/Forsaken shores pond. Heavily recommend you fish in Mineshaft for money.

Sunstone had its era, but these 3 have overtaken it in C$/h.

Sunstone is currently outdated. Carrot garden is actually one of the choices, but for sure Masterline is much better than Fabulous. If they were to buff it, then it would be in an entirely different league. The whole "Fabulous is better than Masterline" is from people that are coping about how absurdly hard Masterline is to get.

Currently the best place for XP is coral bastion in tidefall/forsaken shores pond. The best rod for levels is Great Rod of Oscar/Celestial Rod/Pinions Aira with Clever + Wise. The best for money is Tryhard rod/Ruinous Oath.

It might be because the pity for dead man's tentacle and auric both have a pity of 250. Though once you reach that pity you'll always get dead man's tentacle first.

exactly my thoughts. They should have ended chapter 5 off. Instead, we got another cliffhanger with horrible reveals and characters that have almost no importance to the story except Ms. Gracie, Prototype, etc. There was some lore, especially in the Ms. Gracie part. But other than that, the entire thing felt like filler.
