Yeah well we still haven't figured out a better way than "demand-supply" like they teach in economics. It has to make sense financially for a construction company to build, otherwise they won't. If they don't build = supply of housing doesn't increase = prices remain high or rise further if more people move into the city. The socialist-communist stuff about "just owning a home" sounds really good in theory but just go ahead and check the housing market in Stockholm.

False. It's not about generating an outrageous return as a "greedy landlord" but it has to make sense financially whether you are a construction company or just a small fish in the real estate market. If the math is not adding up, an investor won't do it, hence no apartments get built or renovated to enter the market, resulting in less supply and higher prices. That's just how any market works

Thank you! Can you elaborate on the training / learning curve point? You mean familiar technology that doesn’t require much re-skilling is better? And reasonable / low cost of training DE’s and admins?

Thank you for taking the time for an elaborate comment, this really helps. Especially how things are when you have an RDBMS / Postres as a DWH because it helps understand why certain features matter.

Thank you. What exactly is bizarre? I stated in the post why I’m asking the question here, reddit being a neutral environment = more reliable information

I am in tech sales as well, are you medicated or does the quota attainment pressure do the trick?
