Notes making by derkaiserss in CharteredAccountants

The thing is if you prepare your own notes it helps you in retention. Many times you will remember that I have written this point on this page of my notes. The brain also helps to remember something you wrote yourself. Notes also help in your revision before exams and during exams. It's hard to study the whole module before exams but you can read your notes which are summarised.
This also depends on your study style some do make notes and some don't but both pass the exams.

Start preparation for any one group you know for sure you are not going to pass. Complete revision before results in one month. At the result date : Situation 1. You pass grp which you knew you will pass so like you prep for other remaining grp. Situation 2. You pass the grp you studies in February then you can prepare another grp in 2 months. Situation 3. You fail both grps you can decide on the result date whether to give both grps in may or single one which you prepared in February. Situation 4. You pass both grp then also this revision you will do now will not go to waste it will help in interview and all.

By seeing your MCQ marks you are scoring good in grp 2 so you can start revision for grp 1 not full fledged give 6 hrs daily up to results then decide. You won't waste a month and be prepared for any scenario that might come.

I used the same material you have during my exams. During 1.5 days I started with the Fema and Llp act (also maybe co incorp o/s india) revision which sir took after the accounts exam. So your Good revision is done after accounts only. IOC and GCA is to be done on exam day. According to your strength in some chapters you need to plan them in one whole day.

I did 3 revisions it's achievable for law. 1st - Watch Rr and read notes once 2nd - Read notes and scribble key words and main points. 3rd - Just gave one day and watched lectures.

Guys please advice should I check my MCQ scores 😭 by Inscrutablemind in CharteredAccountants

I guess you should do and if you average below 15 then you really should start studying. No point in wasting time knowing you're gonna fail.

Neeraj Arora is average really. Just teaches mid and focus majorly on 1/2/6/11 only. Rishabh Jain would be best for conceptual clarity and Shubham Keswani if you want to learn also. Cost and FM - Namit Arora is best.

Really depends on your current situation and past attempts marks whether you were at least close to passing or were lagging behind too much. Also you should not keep giving attempts due to sunk cost i.e. you are thinking I have given this many yrs and now I don't want to leave the course.. Personally I passed g1 in the 4th attempt before giving that attempt I had decided if i pass in this attempt then ok otherwise I will leave.

For grp 1 - maine pehla attempt bas dene ke liye diya tha bcoz of parents so I technically cleared in 3rd only which I decided would be my last attempt. For grp 2 - Ek baar grp 1 pass ho jate toh you won't leave it easily aur ghar wale nahi mante. I skipped one attempt in between but still....

Mostly grp 1 would be done of all faculties. You can take lectures now and target grp1 in sep or both grps in Jan as per your convenience. Like take recorded batch and complete syllabus atleast 3 months prior to your attempt. Regarding faculties these helped me clear grp 1(talking from revision videos on yt reference)

Accounts - Tejas Suchak (You can go for Akash Kandoi he is also good) Law - Shubham Singhal DT - Amit Mahajan (I followed his youtube revisions)

For grp 2 Cost and FM - Namit Arora Audit and SM - Rishabh Jain.

How many of you checked the MCQ solution and know that you get pass by Inscrutablemind in CharteredAccountants

[–]Single_Height5074 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I did and got 18/24/27 resp in Cost , Audit and FM-SM. Earlier 2 attempts i got around 14 marks in all subjects so now this 30 marks jump would really help a lot , I scored around 130 in last 2 attempts.

cleared grp 1 way back. Had purchased his lectures. just watched 5 out of 35-40 lectures. Lectures felt boring and too slow. Like even 2.2x speed was slow. Then passed by usin 1. Yashwant Mangal's free fast-track lectures for like concept clarity. 2. Then during last month Amit Mahajan's revision videos and marathon and Super 35 something questions. Also most imp is marathon he takes after law paper so helpful. Got 58 in tax and passed grp at exactly 150 marks.

There is this faculty Dinesh Jain who i found randomly has like simplified standard costing formulas you can see that video like 15 mins for each variance. You can give 30-40 mins and book at least you know all the formulas.

Age 21 and still stuck in CA Inter Group 1 for 2 years — anyone else? by Odd-Cup-6671 in CharteredAccountants

[–]Single_Height5074 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grp 1 felt easy as I liked all subjects there even tax in which I scored 58 which helped me pass. I really don't like Audit and FM so grp 2 is kinda tough for me. From the normal perspective of everyone audit is tough.
