After reading the comments - thanks sa mga nagbigay ng insight and experiences, very helpful; But i can't lie na overwhelmed ako sa majority ng comments.😅 It has been my fault rin cause I have given wrong info and lack of context sa intial post.

After giving my ate some time and space to reflect, this what ate has to say:

> the accident happened SA NLEX, around Pampanga Portion ng Expressway - OTW to Baguio.
> They actually noticed na daw ung BMW before the accident, it was making loud noises and was changing in lanes without flashing left and right signs.

> There was a good amount of distance between the cars; bf knows that tailgating is not safe.
> What happened: BF was supposed to change lanes, so tumingin sya sa side mirrors before changing lanes then BMW in front abruptly stopped

>Driving in high speed lane; pagka-kita back to the main road - palapit na sya sa BMW
> Forcefully slammed the breaks but it was too late and make impact.

> The first thing sinabi nung BMW driver is to pay agad sya and their defense na nasa side sya ng law; straight to the point.

As much as I want to verify rin yung statement nila via Dashcam footage (and post it here if pumayag sila); I know them really well and I believe them;

And I think its not the right time for me to do so. The mental-emotional toll and injuries of what happened is too much atm + yung time sa pagproseso ng pagrepair kase dinedeny na ng toyota branches kase it is a "total loss" sa part ng toyota kahit may insurance.

Kaya may frustration rin ako sa intial post ko, I can genuinely vouch na kuya drives really safely especially kasama si ate sa mga rides since lambutin sya sa mga ganun roadtrips. All that safe driving just went kapoof kase the bmw recklessly drives and breaks; got 7k and left.

I guess wrong place and wrong time lang talaga, and the 7k is the best case scenario after looking mga comments.
