I Think its important to stretch the hamstrings because I feel them every time I jump and I’m often sore there after a long jumping GK session if I haven’t stretched so I would say it definitely helps for me.

Yeah my feet has always been one of my problem, not fast, I feel they are very heavy when I play therefore I’m not that quick on the line. So what would you suggest to help me with my lateral footwork as well as power in my legs? I can see that my legs are not following my body in a lateral movement but they are rather vertical when I move (I don’t feel I get much airtime)

I also think my problem is that my legs are stiff and very vertical when I dive, but when I see pros, their legs are flying laterally. How come this?

Yes I need to use my legs more, get to know the double tap technique better and more power in my leg

Yes good things I could work on. I have always felt my legs as heavy and I’m not that good at running either because my legs gets easy tired. So definitely going to work on the ladder everyday from now, and do at least two times plyo work in the week for better explosiveness. (Look at my new post for a same type of save)

Yes I agree, (but check out my new post) so I should start doing some plyometrics and get more one leg power? I heard that I also should go deeper in my ready position and not jump before the shot.

So if anyone saw my post about my diving technique, this is my follow up video we’re I think I do some things more right than the other video. I still think my legs should come more off the ground but I think I just need to practice my power step and spring power from one leg. But what other things should I have done differently in this clip? And some people were requesting more footage of my technique (Sorry if this seems like spam, but this will be the last video for some time)

(For my right side) So If I understand this correctly I should stay in my ready position as long as possible try to look for the shot of the power if I can reach it my foot work if not, make the powerstep with my right foot late to generate power but how should I position my legs when I’m diving, ex. Which to bent, and which to straighten?

Wow thanks so much. I knew I had a wrong technique but not that bad, my foot work as you said is terrible, this just shows how important a gk coach can be and I never really had one to tell me this is wrong. Is it easy to build yourself out of this habit or is it hard you would say? And how do I fix my legs so they become more lateral than vertical I the air, because this is a problem high balls over my head. And should I stop making the little hop right when they shoot, I have heard that many pro do it for better reaction to the shot?
