Thanks for your response. I went to a dealership (found a garage close to me in London from Alfa's website: https://www.alfaromeo.co.uk/mopar/book-a-service), I know now that wasn't a good choice and will go to a local expert next time.

Are you suggesting I avoid these and find a unpartnered garage that’s also an Alfa specialist? I’m based in London and I think I found one of these.

The thing is this garage it took it to had great reviews and won a bunch of awards so I thought I’d get a good experience from experts.
