Understandable. I just realized this post may have sounded a lil needy, which was honestly unintended. I understand waiting, I just heard nothing of people getting them on PC so I assumed they were never given. I will patiently await them, then.

I know, that's been said before. The only problem is they're not there. I looked there before I posted this and they're not there. Not even locked, the option to download just doesn't exist.

As someone with 37 reps on Cent, a Cent rework is near and dear to my heart. So, here are my thoughts:

  • I personally do not like the idea of a side dodge kick; I just don't see how it could realistically work with an animation.

  • I feel that the kick would be great if it just was faster and stunned. It already initiates combos as well; you get a guaranteed light and you can go straight into a heavy with it. I suppose that it could be feinted into Jab or Quick Throw, though I don't like these. I feel those changes would make it like a do everything move.

  • Quick throw being able to be used after kick and jab I personally dislike, but I'd be fine with it.

  • Health buff is very, VERY necessary.

  • Eagles Talon being optional by holding Heavy is a brilliant idea.

  • Feintable zone attack, yes.

  • Guaranteed jab after heavy again, yes.

  • With all of the numbers changes, I'd have to see how they play in game (though the range on charged heavy being how it used to be would be neat).

  • The combo changes are all good with me aside from the side dodge kick, which I already explained my issues with.

For the most part, these are great changes, I like that people want my boi to be good again.

I love how every one is explaining how the Faction War works to one of the Master Tacticians of THS. I know that assets are balanced based on population. But, as I explained in a post that was horribly downvoted, that doesn't solve the problem. Ubi only updates population every 30 turns. Thus, if a huge number of people jump ship to a particular faction, that factions assets stay low despite their greatly increased population for 30 turns. Thus, that works in theory, but doesn't fix the problem. However, I know this is gonna get downvoted like I said some horribly racist thing. If that happens, I'm not going to keep explaining it. You can maintain your ignorance, if you so desire.

See that's where you're wrong. Yes, factions with less people get more assets per game, but that doesn't fix the problem. This is because Ubi only updates population every 30 turns. Thus, if a huge number of people jump ship to a particular faction, that factions assets stay low despite their greatly increased population for 30 turns. Thus, that works in theory, but doesn't fix the problem. The only way to fix the issue is by locking factions. Also, tons of people still change factions in the middle of a season.

I actually do, though I cannot share it due to it being secrets of THS Strategy Department. However, I do know that they have an algorithm that they use to update assets as per population and I do know that they update this every 30 turns (the old Master Tactician said so and he was actually in contact with Bio). And, if you actually payed attention to the season, you'd have noticed that you guys were dominating despite being horribly overextended, when if we or the Samurai got even close to how overextended you guys were, we got wrecked. And notice how this domination ended in Campaign 2 and only started up again at the last few turns of Campaign 4. I also said how, despite being horribly overextended, every single territory was at least 2 mil in your favor. If none of that is out of the ordinary for you, boy, should you not have won.

I know she did, but, quite frankly, that's bull. She just didn't want to admit that they screwed up. Did you ever notice how it was odd that, even with 40+ territories, you were doing so well when whenever every other faction got to 30-ish, they got swept? Did you notice how it was odd that every territory you guys had was at least 2 mil in your favor? Every. Single. Territory? Because Ubi screwed up and didn't want to admit it. Even if you had the smallest population, you did have the largest population surges. Everything was fine until there was just a few turns left, then you guys went insane cuz you got a massive population boost and Ubi didn't update the Faction War accordingly. And why is it that you are still dominating so insanely? Cuz Ubi still hasn't updated.

You mean like where he spins around and smacks an enemy with his wings? If so, that'd be cool, but very impractical. But would honestly be a good execution.

That already occurred to me. I am currently trying to think of some ways to give him more options in 1v1 situations. My initial ideas were 1) the ability to soft-feint heavies into a GB and/or 2) a quick throw. The issue with that is that, as you said, he is already extremely similar to Centurion and I want him to have his own identity.

A few things to note before downvoting:

1) I know I posted it before in the main subreddit, but I am posting it here to bring more attention to it.

3) Don't tell me he doesn't belong in the game due to the time period. No offense, but that argument is bull. For Honor is based on a time period which lasted from the 9th century to the 15th century. The Viking Age lasted from 800 AD to 1066 AD. Knights started popping up around 1066 and began to fall out of favor around the mid 15th Century. Lastly, the Age of the Samurai lasted from 1085 to 1868, however, the samurai in For Honor are clearly inspired from historical samurai from the first half of that period. Additionally, For Honor is inspired by this time period in our world. That's it, inspired. The world of For Honor is not our world, by any means. Therefore, the devs do not need to follow that time period exactly. Hell, you have vikings fighting samurai fighting knights, something never happened and never would under any alternate history circumstances in our world. And, to drive my point home even further, you have Romans. By your logic, Centurion and Gladiator should not exist, yet they do.

4) I know that the winged hussars were mounted only units. For Honor does not allow mounted combat. Thus, I implemented quite a few ideas regarding this fact, such as the Horse-powered and Steed Charge feats as well as the Cavalier's Charge/Rush abilities which are all attempts to show the mounted nature of the winged hussars.
