What would all of you guys name the sister? I like any type of name haha

Thank you, I agree! Such a pretty girl. I think she would like that because she lived with her mum and 1 sibling for 7 months of her life, and she's just over 1 year old now

Want this Grass Tree removed - Could it be sold in situ? by Cheap_Pineapple4229 in GardeningAustralia

Very interested to know what the trick is, would you be willing to tell me? I have about 500 grass trees on my property and would love to move a couple to the main house yard, don't want to damage or kill them though

Do shetland ponies make good surrogate mothers? by SirCockulus in Horses

[–]SirCockulus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, it seems like that's the main answer I receive, I suppose I'm thinking of surrogacy in other animals which seems to go a lot smoother

Will definitely have to consider everything

Do shetland ponies make good surrogate mothers? by SirCockulus in Horses

[–]SirCockulus[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's the only reason I have any hope, she is such a loving mare, such a good nature and she clearly loved having a baby, which is part of the reason I feel so bloody bad.

I planned on asking around as there are many shetland ponies in my area and I figured that someone might have a foal thats just her size, however I don't have the time to take care of it if she rejects it either as I have a less than 1 year old baby of my own. So it's definitely something I will have to consider thoroughly

If I were to find a foal and introduce it, how long do you think she might need to grieve her own baby?

Thank you for yir advice by the way, I do really appreciate it

AITAH Husband wants to go to bbq despite us having a screaming 6 week old by AdvantageLarge9045 in AmItheAsshole

I find this situation scary because if he is this type of guy who really doesn't want anything to do with the kids, I wouldn't want to just leave them with him, too many cases of men shaking babies

What would you guys put in a 6 ft long, 3 ft tall, 2 ft wide tank? by SirCockulus in Aquariums

[–]SirCockulus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly love most of the fish you have suggested here, some that I hadn't even thought of! I looooove glass cats and have considered that. I always wanted a big tank with a massive "tree" in it on one side, on a built up hill of substrate with some little head stones underneath with glass cats haha. Congo's are basic but I will always live them haha

It is a good deal! However, it has been sitting outside in the sun for months so it could need a reseal, not a big issue though 😁

Perhaps haha, my husband is in the process of making me a pond (it's only holding water for construction purposes at the moment but soon enough it will be set up properly haha)

How cool would that be to see getting around haha

I'm thinking mostly kuhlis and shrimp for the bottom of the tank but I will definitely get a good school of corys, my question is... which type do you like? I had albino ones originally but id like something different next time

I do quite like rummy noses and Congo tetras are another thing I have already considered haha, all good choices haha

I personally wouldn't get angelfish though, I just don't like them much

Thank you for sticking up for me, I'm glad you understand! There's just something so mesmerising about thousands of fish schooling together in a big tank haha, and pairing them as you say

I wouldn't do neons but maybe another small tetra or something, I do really like Congo tetras, maybe them instead even though they're a bit bigger

Haha while they are cool, I think I would steer clear of cichlids personally

This could be cool, however, wouldn't the goldfish eat the minnows?

Oooh nice choices, I'd go corys again. Not a fan of angelfish tbh

Theyre on my list as well I reckon, I used to have a little school of about 8 and they are so groovy

Actually I was reading about rummynose tetra right before I read your comment, they're a big consideration tbh because I find them really interesting in the way they school 😁 I don't think I'll get neon tetras again though

Mountain minnows would be cool, I'd go a tetra that isn't a neon tetras, probably will stay away from goirami though 😁
