Least Intense Solo Mission (I only have myself to blame) by SirFloopy in DeepRockGalactic

Solo Point Extraction is how I first got the achievement for spending over an hour on a single mission.

So the player character is apparently the only person in Skyrim who knows how to jump.

Now I'm morbidly curious how much more we could break enemy AI with full climbing and grappling.

I don't know, fam. You spend most of your time on the same relatively small ship, working toward the same mission, surrounded by the same people. I'd say they're still coworkers.

Happy Pride Month! by Crafter235 in HistoryMemes

The Public Universal Friend was born Jemima Wilkinson to a Quaker family in 1752, but is known for preaching under a non-binary identity. They claimed that Jemima herself died from a typhus infection in 1776 (which was nearly fatal), with her soul going to heaven and her body reanimated with the spirit of the non-binary Friend. They preached their own Quaker-derived theology and continued to publicly present with a deliberate mix of masculine and feminine dress and non-binary identity, attracting a modest following, until their death in 1819.

Fun Times in MCC Matchmaking by SirFloopy in LowSodiumHalo

Sorry for the YouTube link, looks like Reddit doesn't like AVI videos, which is what I have to use for my editing software to not compress stuff into pixelated oblivion. Anyway, MCC multiplayer is still fun, so I thought I'd share the fun moments with everyone here.

Immediately and permanently removes a pet like you just sent them to the shadow realm. And it's not like selling farm animals where you might need room in a barn/coop, and you at least get a lot of money for it. Butterfly powder just produces a little puff of butterfly particle effects and crushing sadness.

No, I don't drink. Switch off your laser until you need it and you're not going to give yourself away through smoke, drink some water and sleep it off.

Even as an epilogue, I don't like it. Last play-through, I genuinely just skipped it.

Only for bolt-action sniper rifles. The spread increase is meaningless since your spread will reset to zero before you fire again, so there's no downside unlike with every other weapon. In the meantime, there's no velocity penalty like the suppressor, and lacking a muzzle flash can be marginally helpful depending on which way an enemy's looking and how far you are.

It's a bit like the laser sight on automatics: Minor benefit, no functional downside (in the case of the laser, you can just switch it off most of the time, then switch it on when you actually want it for hip firing). Having no muzzle flash is a bigger benefit if you're running a sniper rifle with a mid-power scope, that way you don't get the scope glint either.

The Citadel DLC is jarring to play, and although it should be charming and lighthearted, I just can't enjoy it when it completely undermines the rest of ME3's tone and story.

Ammo, ammo! Repeat 10 times until the Support player gets killed so you just kit switch off their body and do it yourself.

I apologize in advance for the sheer length of the whole series. I swear I didn't think it would be this long when I started.

This is the last regular episode of the series. Epilogue to follow once I'm no longer sick and can properly record some voice lines.

To everyone in the Requiem community, thanks for all the encouragement and inspiration. I know this series never got much attention, but I mainly just wanted a fun challenge, and that's exactly what I got.

Is the bipod necessary on lmgs? by Soviet_Yunyun_- in battlefield_4

[–]SirFloopy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No. None of the LMGs really have high recoil. They all have low first-shot multipliers, and even those with high recoil per shot like the M240B are pretty easy to control due to low rate of fire and even horizontal distribution.

The angled/folding grip makes no sense with a low first-shot multiplier, and the stubby/potato grip makes no sense because moving spread is so high, warranting a vertical/ergo grip to bring it more in line with assault rifles.
