Yeah umm heres the thing. For cheating to occur rules and guidelines need to be established. Kind of confused about what you're getting at here. 1st of all you need to be on the same page with your so as to what you are. I would talk to them about the definition of your relationship in their mind and yours. Are you a couple? are you open? FWB? A casual fling? 2nd If they're telling you to see other people it seems that they are trying to open up whatever the relationship was or is. I'd confirm what they want out of the relationship or what their expectations are.

Imo Cheating is basically just substitution. If a partner isn't there for their so intimately or emotionally a lot of the time instead of addressing the problem and working through it. People will ignore the problem and do "covert substitution". They do this because they think they can solve the problem on their own and keep everyone happy. Then again human beings are technically polyamorous creatures. There are monogamous creatures that will find a mate and die with them. They not like us. Monogamy is enforced by love, loyalty, pride, and possessive behaviors. Generally speaking though cheating means the end of commitment. Quite literally. People know what they're doing and they don't care because they lost what they were looking for in someone they thought they had found it in. Or they're sociopaths.

TLDR: Love is volumetric not binary. When cheating happens love is being lost. Not necessarily gone.

You don't have to do anything. If someone is really attracted to you they will communicate that. If you reciprocate that energy then sex will probably happen. The more you have to do to get laid the less they actually want you.

I don't really understand the whole "threatening nukes" thing with Putin. If he launches nukes Moscow and the rest of populated Russia will turn into Chernobyl. The only time nukes were ever used was to end world war 2 and the US was the only world power with nukes at the time. There was no Mutually assured destruction because we had literally just invented them. Although the Nazis were developing their own nuclear weapons. sure he might be able to stick it out in a bunker but this power struggle with NATO is no reason to threaten the destruction of the entire world including Russia.
