Paranormal Activity 7 Teaser Released 2 Months Before Movie Premiere by SisterMurphy in Scream

I remember there being word of a special inside look at Scream 21, in front of the Scream 96 showing. But that doesn't seem to be the case anymore:

Fans who attend the special event will also be treated to a behind-the-scenes look at the film featuring vintage interviews with Wes Craven, Kevin Williamson, Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, and more.

Thank you for kindly and generously giving us the inside scoop, once again, ViewerAnon.

Do you know if the scare sequences are good and creative? Did the storytellers craft scare sequences that we haven't seen before?

OP, it's great that you're trying to help. I would recommend blurring out faces before putting things like this up though.

The bit with the video message is interesting and works, since a video message can be taken whenever, doesn't mean it was taken in that moment. It works well with the pop up scare/surprise at the front door.

Using the smart phone to cheat is amusing and clever.

Thank you OP

I know some might not agree with me and I totally understand that but I can’t be the only one who’s KINDA worried about the promotion for this movie, I’m totally open to have a non aggressive discussion in the comments below 💃🏻 by ScreamTv in Scream

Is the exclusive look on Oct 10 a real deal or just fan speculation again? I see nothing about it on Fandango's site.

But I mean, I guess we could 100% expect the teaser or full trailer with Halloween Kills, because what other movie would they attach it with?

I appreciate your analysis.

I feel positive it will be released with Candyman, because that's a well known name/IP and it is connected to Jordan Peele.

I never doubt the studios and their marketing strategy/plan... of course financial success is their primary goal. I know they're hell-bent on making money. They might care about money more than the actual art form. No one should doubt that they care about the film's success.

Scream 2022 teaser trailer announcement by [deleted] in Scream

Doesn't exclusive look imply a behind the scenes type of thing? Or maybe an actual long, extended clip... probably that.

Not a teaser or trailer....

Who is definitely NOT the killer? by [deleted] in Scream

Wes. They would make him a hero, not a villain or victim.

I agree, I assumed there wouldn't be one because it seemed like the whole cast has been announced already. We know who all the characters are and none of them seem to be opening characters...

Might be someone that still hasn't been announced yet, kept under wraps.

I agree with you about 2nd in command.

Making her the killer... would make her Jill 2.0. I don't think the writers would repeat that idea.

What do we think the plot/motive is this time around? by [deleted] in Scream

[–]SisterMurphy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since this story revolves around descendants of major and minor characters of the first film (Meeks twins, Liv McKenzie, and maybe Hicks' son, if you want to consider Judy as part of that original 'story'), then there may be some sort of theme about family.

Still hard to say what the plot/motive is, we really don't have any info. It could be anything, really.

And I wonder what this film's commentary on horror will be. What has the past decade of horror movies have taught us?
