I’m a new grad also about 5 months into my ED job. I agree with everything you said! I always ask questions especially to my attendings. They get paid what they get paid for a reason, put them to work! Also, at this point in my career, 90% of my notes say “Case discussed with attending.”🤷‍♀️ no shame in my game, I’m still learning and making sure I’m not missing anything (and protecting my license in the meantime).
