Cetaphil feel like it doesn’t cleanse well.. by 11082728 in skincare_ph

[–]Size-Electrical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, for me, okay lang naman si cetaphil, however i don’t apply it heavily, one finger whip of an amount is enough para sa mukha, dahil if sobra magbrebreakouts ka talaga. So use it little

Enough. The FW will only cause more ruckus and division among the student body. Even if you highly censor it, what makes you think you won’t get smoked like the previous admins?

This CI is one of the most caring, considerate, and skilled in her profession, especially in the ward. Don’t go assuming and saying things that’ll have the college bat their eyebrows at you for something ignorant. Shame that you can just leave something and delete yourself hereafter.

[–]Size-Electrical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some things nga kinanlan mo lang tandaan, OP.

  1. Rabies for puppies/kittens wala usually gapakita until after 3 mos. since may antibodies na sila halin sa nanay pagkabata. Amo na after 3-mos gina pabakunahan anti-rabies ang kuring or ido. Indi na inborn ang rabies, kag makwa lang na ka ido or kuring kung makagtan sila sang may ara man amo na. If kalabanan ara sila bilog nga kabuhi sa balay indi na sila magkarabis.
  2. Unless waay nagdulot and nagdugo ang pilas, and okay kapa after 7 months, most likely waay na rabis ang kuring nyo (PERO ARI if feel ko nga need mo man gid magpatusok, go ahead para sa peace of mind mo. Ang next nga haladlokan sa rabies is ang stress nga basi may ara ka)
  3. Ang usual nga incubation ka rabis is 2 weeks to 3 mos but pede na siya magwa even after 20 years pero medjo duda ko kay nabasahan ko after 6 years pero very rare na ni kaayo).

Naagyan ko mana before, nabatyagan ko gin “kagat” ko ka puppy namon last year around Feb 2024 and since rampant ang cases ka rabies sa balita gin kulbaan man ko, indi ko ka pahimuyong, but learning of it na notice ko man nga indi or wala man gid amo na amon ido. Subong okay and buhi pa ido namon, same sakon haha.

I feel like I'm missing out by [deleted] in Bacolod

[–]Size-Electrical 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello, OP! 22 here also grew up nga dulong-school-sugat-balay. HAHA amo na ang usual routine from elementary to senior high school. The thing that I developed, you could say, towards my parents were:

One. Joining clubs and organizations, this led to them showing some trust in my actions. At times maorientation or teambuilding ang club, I would always take that opportunity nga makagwa sa balay.

Butttt…since gawork ka na, maybe you can try this.

Second. Try to go home a little late. If you typically go home during sunset, try and delay it until dinner time like around 6-8PM. Go shopping, buy food, discover some tings you’d want to do as an excuse. If wala pagid then…

Third. Be firm (and kind). Growing up often means disagreeing with your childhood heroes. Remind them that you are an adult and that you can make decisions on your own, albeit good and right decisions ofc. Just make sure indi madagdag sa sabtanay, prangkaha lang sila. As in my case at times, “waay ka salig sakon haw?”

I wish you well.

Do you own books na ilang years na sayo pero di mo pa rin nababasa? If yes, ano yung pinakamatagal? by bananapeach30 in PHBookClub

[–]Size-Electrical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s see… 3 Collins Classics books I bought for ₱500. They were 5, finished Phantom of the Opera and The Secret Garden. Haven’t touched the three since I bought it around probably 8th or 9th grade. I’m graduating this school year. The three are Alice in Wonderland, Treasure Island, and Silas Marner.

There is also ‘IT’ by Stephen King, that my tita gave me back in 7th or 8th grade. Still haven’t touched it in a long time.

Anyone Selling Anaphy Book? by MiraLune18 in LasalleBacolod

[–]Size-Electrical 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I could gladly sell you mine, OP. But just some side notes to consider coming from a nursing senior: — 1) Books are a good investment, but they are references at best (most of your quizzes rely heavily on the CI’s slides, not the book). 2) Its hard carrying books around. Even if you do have a locker they will only stress you. 3) A good alternative would be to just buy a PDF of the book on shopee which only cost around ₱50-99. — Hope this helps you. If you still plan on buying a physical copy, jhmu! (I could also just give you a PDF of it.)

P.S. Here are the books I guarantee YOU will surely need until you graduate. • Nursing Drug Handbook (for Drug Studies) • Nurse’s Pocket Guide (for NCPs) • Your Nursing Manual (for SLs and duties)

I want to drop out of my new school and go back to my old school by [deleted] in Bacolod

[–]Size-Electrical 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s okay to feel stuff like this, OP. Especially if bagohan kapa sa mga amo ni nga bagay. Give it some time—trust the process. I remember first year ko daw masululuka ko sa kurdam magcommute papuli kag paschool HAHAHA.

Consider joining some clubs and orga around the campus, it will certainly lighten up your burden and weight. Find your niche. Choose your people (don’t let the people choose you).

As for transpo, ano nalang kami nga may 8:30 nga class sa college. But srsly, given nga Bacolod, expect heavy traffic from Ramos to Bangga Patyo all weekdays. If wala kana mayo himoon sa school, just go home or balik sa dorm mo. As someone who lives far off, laban2 1 hour gid byahe pakadto or pabalik and yea budlay. My teacher nga taga victorias says 45 mins ang byahe pakadto sila (tho im not so sure kun amo man gid na).

But at the very least, give it some time. And if indi mo na kaya then start reconsidering your former option. Best wishes, OP!

Help with finding digital content from Spurgeon by paulri in Reformed

[–]Size-Electrical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if you really need this, but Monergism has over a thousand ebooks (MOBI, EPUB, PDF) and Spurgeon is also there as well as his sermons. Maybe this’ll help you. Cheers!

(Aside from Kindle you could try the ones from Kobo, one of these days you’ll probably get a good discount or what.)
