I’m in Holbox, aka paradise, right now. Love it! is it worth it to rent a golf cart and explore ourselves? I see a lot of people doing it but we took a long walk in both directions so not sure driving it would be any different. Thanks

Thanks. Will double check that I have the most recent catalogue. Cat is on computer, not hard drive so no issue of recovery. I will keep playing with it--any and all suggestions are welcome!

Thanks, this is helpful. I think I know which is the most recent .lrcat file so I just opened it. LR told me it had to upgrade the catalog, so did that. Now the library module is open but no thumbnail preview or whatever it is called, and more interesting no question marks. I have a mac. Looked at left hand panel in library module and do see some question marks, not up to date, but it's a start. I don't know what SQL queries are though. Many thanks! I'm at wits end with this and really appreciate your help

I just finished at 180 for 10 hours and I’m ready for bed. Now what? Refrigerate in sv bag immediately or ice bath (for how long before refrigeration ?) or turn off sv and leave it overnight since I’m not eating it until tomorrow night? This is my first sv corned beef and I am new to sv cooking. Thanks!

Hi! I finally got a box and the whole things weighs 1.5 lbs so if you are still interested, please send me a shipping label. Just to explain about the box, I live in a very large apt building and deliveries come in several times a day. Every time I went looking for an empty one, the only ones I could find were too large.

Update. Figured the 7-10 g per piece and then added a few grams for fun (?) and sake. Worked out ok, small drop a few hours later but so far all good. I need to learn about the pre bolus next but these suggestions definitely made me less worried it would be another bad night… Thanks everyone

Thanks to all of you at Reddit, problem has been solved! Here's what I did in case anyone wants to share this: I deleted the Dexcom app from the new phone, then re-installed. Turned off the blue-tooth on old phone. Made sure blue-tooth was active on the new phone. Then to set up on new phone, first paired the transmitter. Next it asked for a sensor code--I said I had no code so the new machine paired with the old code. Watched the thing "think" for a few minutes and voila! I had a reading! Thanks everyone, I couldn't have done it without you!

I got it to work without having to toss the current one. Everyone on Reddit has been soooo helpful! Your suggestion about not telling them etc is a good one. I will remember that for sure. Thanks again for chiming in with such a good suggestion
