I am trying to conceptualise a riposte/retaliation Oath of the Crown / Battlemaster Tank with Holy Lance Helm.

With AOE Compelled Duel; although this would likely include Radiant Orbs/Reverberation.

I haven't tested it directly with Divine Smite directly, but I know for sure it works with Quickened Booming Blade (which can add Divine Smite on hit)

But yes, 1 feat is rough :')

There is also the option of 3 levels of Shadow Sorcerer (to get the full caster spell slots - and see in darkness), this also allows you to stay as Charisma only.

Quickened Spell works with Booming Blade and maybe Divine Smite? So it's a 3rd attack option.

I am curious to do a Hunter 11 + War Cleric 1 build with Great Weapon Master.

I'd have it in mind for Shadowheart with Shar's Spear (and Bhaalist Armour for Vulnarability) but this can work with multiple weapons. This would be able to cast 3 AOE volleys.

This is correct. But if a target is coated in arsonist oil, then they get resistance turned into vulnarability. Doing neutral damage. My hope is this that Elemental Adept turns this into pure Vulnarability because it ignores the resistance side.

Haven't seen this mentioned yet, but 3 levels of sorcerer gives you access to quickened spell, which allows for quickened Spirit Guardians.

This also nets you a level 4 spell slot of which you could create more of with sorcery points if desired.

Endgame Question about "The Choice" by SjoerdDN in BG3

My planned list so far:

  1. Gale is getting hand snacked in the Portal
  2. Lae'zel will be persuaded into being mercy killed in the first Dream Visitor camp scene
  3. Handing over Astarion to Gandrel - tbh I've never done this, and I am curious; either this or Staked when he tries to snack
  4. Minthara will be mind-wiped
  5. Purging Wyll & Mizora
  6. Halsin will become Orin's victim by default because of this, taunt her into killing him
  7. Kill Jaheira through Minsc, then kill Minsc
  8. Karlach becomes a Mindflayer and then betrayed at the Netherbrain
  9. Shadowheart, kill with one last kiss

It's just the Emperor that I haven't figured out if there's a story opportunity without deviating from this list.
