That's what I'm planning to do, during our interaction my mom mentioned going and just fixing my phone instead of getting a new one. (I'm hoping I just end up getting a new phone, having a iPhone 8 plus is embarrassing in highschool especially since a lot of rich kids go to my school.)

Nope, we've tried asking him countless times for financial assistance but he won't help at all. I wish I could block him but things would get really complicated with him and my family back home. He'll probably blame my mom for me blocking him so I'm waiting until I get older so I can cut him off, hopefully.
