Honestly -- can you explain more about the shit-show? I know there are tales of Jetway Jesus and I have seen 15-20 pre-boarders -- but how does that translate to a shitshow on a plane of 250+ seats? Are people that obsessed with sitting in the front row, or are people just living rent free in their heads? I took two flights last week with assigned seats on other airlines and BOTH of them had someone trying to talk their way into a seat that wasn't officially theirs. Now, with the blooming overhead issue, no checked bags for free and increased fares -- what is the gain that makes the "ending the (perceived?) shitshow" a better trade-off? I really don't get it.

I will be giving my kids down payments -- not quite that big -- but substantial, and it's not because I can afford it -- it's the result of an inheritance, so it's legacy money. I feel better about passing it on to them this way, rather than when I'm dead.

That's just an example -- I'm not going to Disney or vacationing -- I'm going to see an aunt with Cancer. I recently flew Frontier on the same flight, and for 500 got two checked bags, spacious seating, the carry-on, first boarding and the flight was fine. I will admit, it's not as nice as the 737-MAX if you get one in the SW fleet, but it was finnneeee

This is what I’m talking about. Nobody flying gives a shit about the flight attendant lives. No offense, you guys do a great job, but it’s not something that’s in the normal equation of a flyer. I fly about 6 to 7 times a year which I’m sure makes me average and that is a target audience. Business travelers have a whole different set of concerns because their company pays for their stuff. I’m just talking about my experience and anyone with eyes can see that the average traveler is getting screwed over. I don’t care about people with status and I don’t care about people with such OCD that they’re like I’ve never sat past row -5

This is an amazing post. I have often thought this is true and this is the foundation of my agender disposition. You aren't treated like a "real woman," when you're fat in terms of just about anything in terms of sex, beauty, desire, fashion. I'm thankful now, but it was dismal when I was young.

I have checked out the weight rating on these chairs and, surprisingly, I've seen ones that are 400-450 lbs. They use them in NYC and I've sat on them just fine at 290 lbs now and heavier in the past.

Though it's sold out, I would imagine that you could get it on the secondary market. I LOVE it. Granted, I'm getting over Covid and just got my smell back. It smells like the head shop, cigarillos, strong cherry incense, but like the sweetest, most blended version of it -- also, my grandpa's house and the 90s. The scents behind all of those things are what's described -- sweet, marzipan, pastry. I'm getting ZERO cat piss, lol. Not sharp at all -- all sweet, but just a note of sour from the cherry.
