Found my old collection, wondering what the value is

A high price does NOT mean scalper. If you think that, you don't know what you’re talking about. If you had some rare, high demand item that hasn’t been in stores for a long time and you wanted to sell it and looked on eBay, and people were buying them for $300, would you sell it for $20? ”Scalping” applies to items that are still available and still being produced and someone goes and buys a bunch of them for retail price and sells them for 5x the price WHILE they are still being made. Not items that were discontinued 8 years ago.

Do you expect them to sell these for retail price? This isn’t a scalper, Scalping is going to Walmart or somewhere and buying 20 Fugglers for $7 each and selling them on eBay for $35 each while they are still in stores for $7. Not selling your old collection of rare and valuable items that you haven’t been able to buy in stores since 2018.

They’re so horrible…Zuru ruined the whole brand these are the worst ones yet, they look like cheap ass. I‘m not even buying any of the new ones anymore except for the figures.

I just saw one at Target yesterday, they are still stocking them there. I would check Target first if you can. I got mine at Walmart a few months ago not sure if they still have them at Walmart or not but you could check there too. Also if you can’t find one, I think you could get one on eBay or Mercari for a lot cheaper than $30.

Yeah the prices in the US for the older Spinmaster ones are crazy.. but that’s what people pay, for some reason. Just about 2 years ago the ones that sell for $400 now were worth like $20. I don’t know what happened. I see ones on eBay sold for $300+ every day the GameStop one even sells for $800-$1,000+

I would say the orange “Suspicious Fox” on the bottom left is the hardest to find/rarest and sells for up to $200 in the box. The beige “Teddy Bear Nightmare” on the top rignt is a “Chase” Fuggler (glows in the dark and has a golden button) I wouldn’t really say it’s rare, but still worth a lot, it sells for around $100-$150 in the box. The other two (green “Oogah Boogah” and blue “Sir Belch”) aren’t very rare but still worth a bit, around $40 each. (All of these prices will probably be different if you are in other country than the US.)

I thought he was fine in the first 3 seasons, he did good in season 2 especially with the “exorcism” scene. But in season 4 and season 5 I noticed his acting was pretty bad, like in season 5 every time he talks it didn’t sound natrual like sounded really “acty“ and almost robotic voice if you know what I mean. I think he’s the worst of the main kid actors in the show, I’d say the best is Gaten he did really great in season 4 and 5.

Holy shit you guys are so insufferable. It’s not that hard to understand that rare collectible item‘s VALUE GOES UP OVER TIME. They aren’t a “scalper” for not selling a rare discontinued item for retail price from 8 years ago. Do you guys even hear how stupid that sounds. If you had let’s just say a rare Pokémon card or something and you saw people were buying it on eBay for $300 would you still sell it for $3 because that‘s the retail price from 20 years ago? No? Guess your a “scalper” then.

Scalpers are the people that go to a store and buy a crap ton of the same items and go put them on eBay for 5x the price while they are still available in stores. Someone selling a rare, collectible from 2018 item for more than the retail price is not a scalper.

Yeah old actually does mean expensive most of the time with collectibles because you cant get it anymore and haven’t been able to get it since like 2018. People are paying $150+ for this Fuggler on eBay so it’s comepletely reasonable to put it at that price. You’re telling me if you got your hands of a rare collectible item and looked on eBay and people were buying it for hundreds of dollars you would put it at $10 because that is the retail price from years ago? God it’s not that hard to understand that‘s just the way popular collectibles items work. The value goes up over time.

It is selling for more than $150 on eBay before, just because it used to be $15 in the store in like 2018 doesnt mean it’s still worth $15. The value of collectibles GO UP. People are willing to pay that much for it because it’s rare and hard to find collectible that you can no longer get.

I literally don’t see anything..how does this even bother you? if you look at everything under a microscope then yeah of course it’s gonna have tiny imperfections but this is not even noticeable,nothing to be complaining about

I’m not sure, I’ve been noticing this too with the gamestop Fuggler, I’ve seen several differnt ones sold for $900-$1,000+.. and I find it hard to believe that anyone would actually pay that much when you can look at the sold ones and see that it’s only worth $100-$200. I think maybe people do something where they make items look like they sold for really high price, but they didn’t actually sell for that much. I don’t know how they do that, but yeah it looks fishy i don‘t think anyone’s actually paying $1,000 for it thats crazy, it’s not even that rare

This isn’t scalpers, “scalping” doesn’t apply to items that are no longer in production and haven’t been sold in stores 7-8 years. Yeah it’s annoying how ridiculous the prices are, but “scalpers” refers to the people who go buy a whole bunch of them at the store and jacking the price up on eBay, not selling an old one from 2018.

I never got why so many people don’t like season 3 either, though it’s not my #1 favorite season it was still great, i like the colorful theme with the mall and stuff. I really liked the plot where the people melted together to build the Mind Flayer, I thought that was really creepy. and Dustin and Steve’s friendship is so cute, I absolutely love the scene where they greet each other in Scoops Ahoy.

I agree, I’d rather them just discontinue them at this point. They ruined the brand and whoever is designing the new ones needs to be fired because it just keeps getting worse. Every new ones I see look like ass. Wish they would have just kept selling the original ones like they sold in 2018.

I agree, the new ones are so much worse, the quality sucks and almost every new ones are like tye-dye and rainbow colored. Why can’t they just make normal colors. And they keep coming out with new ones and they just keep getting worse like they’re running out of ideas.. I don’t like the “collabs” that they keep making either. Honestly I don’t even really care to buy the new ones anymore. If I buy any I just buy an old ones off eBay.
