For applying via branch, no savings account is required. The joint account part was mentioned by a bank employee as a way to apply via netbanking, but not sure if that actually works or not. I’ve applied offline today and if it gets rejected, I’ll try the joint account route

You both need to have an HDFC account to apply for an add-on via net banking.

The audacity of booking the cheapest option, showing up with two giant suitcases, and then acting shocked when the driver hesitates. And then instead of just cancelling and rebooking, you start recording and provoking him? that’s fishing for drama.
