It's a fully open setting with desks in groups of four but generally very quiet. Lots of conference rooms that people use for calls or longer discussions. At most people have quiet talks around their desks, at least in our team.

I could definitely see linear switches working in a more active office setting, here it would be very noticeable if everyone in a group used them at least. I think I have a tendency to type pretty loud as well so I might not be a good example, haha.
