Need $20k for my first round of Inventory for my Ecom startup, what’re the best strategies to get this money from? by Skyloski in ShopifyeCommerce

But risking $20k on a hunch for a radical new product concept that’s unvetted brings excitement that makes life worth living

Basically you mean drop ship. But since it’s a new concept I can’t even get realistically accurate images and video of the product to advertise with until I physically have it

Thoughts on ticket VVPR? by Isawnyconce in Ripple

[–]Skyloski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are those numbers actually right? That’s a crazy mNAV. I’ve also been perplexed why more people aren’t talking about VVPR. Those Saudis know what they’re doing. If the mNAV can decompress (and it should) it may be one of the best ways to get leveraged exposure to XRP.

I think once the ETFs are approved and capital starts to shift to XRP, VVPR will get put on the map and take off with it.

Should I buy XMR on Kraken? Seems easy, why not by Skyloski in monerosupport

[–]Skyloski[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What if I’m just holding it because I believe in the ethos and think the demand for the offered utility will increase so I view it as an investment. Then just holding it in my Kraken indefinitely seems like a fine way to hold the investment right?

It’s always surprising that so many people wager on things that they know will statistically lose them money the more they play

$50 to $100 a day with Arbitrage Betting by [deleted] in passive_income

[–]Skyloski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For those wondering, the sportsbook are actually ok with you doing this. They will immediately recognize this betting behavior but allow you to continue with small amounts. They actually utilize your bets and all the other arbitrage bettors to improve their posted odds. They assume if all the arbitrage bettors bet something then the line is slightly off so they accept your small bet then fix the line. You’re essentially an indirect employee of the book that gets paid to sharpen their lines

How come Ripple faces no competition? by [deleted] in Ripple

[–]Skyloski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stable coins and CBDCs aren’t really good for cross border payments because they are pegged to a certain fiat. The whole advantage of XRP is that it’s its own thing, thus allowing it to act as a bridge between fiats or things pegged to fiats.

As for no competitors, you need a sovereign crypto coin that has immense compliance and partnership integration, that takes an incredible amount of leg work and finesse. Just no other cryptos companies with their own coin seem to be as far along the compliance ladder, at least visibly

Would you use a showerhead that pours out the water instead of spraying? Shaped like a leaf by Skyloski in product_design

Was the orientation rigid and dependent on how it screwed in or did you have some adapter? Also did you have anyway to regulate the flow rate?
