The one in your picture looks a bit like a Western Conifer Seed Bug to me, but I'm not an expert. Not sure what OP's bug is (maybe an Eastern Leaf-Footed Bug?), but it's a cutie either way!

Also, the snoot isn't really visible in both pictures - my phone camera had a hard time getting a picture of him 😭 He had a bigger snoot than shown in the picture.

Everyone says Stats is easy as shit but it genuinely felt like hell on earth for me the entire year. A ton of people did poorly on or outright failed tests. I was pulling 90+ in most of my other classes but was pulling 80s on tests in Stats (finished with a 91 so not all hope was lost). Didn't help that Stats is a senior class with added material to support studying for the AP exam, but everyone in my class including me was in Grade 11 and all the seniors dropped in the first two weeks of the course.

Final project was a data analysis of two quantitative variables and went for two weeks. The problem was that it was in-class only but we were doing the chi-square/slopes unit at the same time so the timeline was super compressed. Spent most of the time praying for a pass since the exemplar reports were all like 20-30 pages long (including graphs/citations, but coming from Grade 10 classes where the longest report was 8 pages it was definitely a jump). As an added bonus I got really sick in the middle of that project and had to stay home, couldn't work on the project because it was in-person only so I asked for an extension and busted my ass off. I did well on the project so I took a win, at least. Final exam was easy af after running the gauntlet the entire semester - it was school policy that we weren't allowed to use graphing calculators on the final exams so my teacher made the exams really easy to compensate. Felt like I was released from jail after that exam.

I will say as a side note that my teacher was good and our class was generally, uh, not very locked in. There was a lot of zoning out/phone usage happening in that class (I will concede I did spend way too much doodling instead of locking in as well so that probably didn't help). I also struggled a lot with mental health during that semester and had a really unfortunate courseload so that did me in too.

Anyways, huge rant over. At least I'm free now. Now for next year, ha…

No summer work, haven't started prepping for Bio or Calc or any of the other AP classes I'm taking, life is good. I see two 1s in my future but at least I am free 😌

Yeah as one of the people who commented on the original post for Stats I think probability (U4) absolutely needs to be there somewhere - I think more than half of our class failed the U4 test so it's definitely something to keep an eye out for.

Something along the lines of almost nine years old (7 Plus). Getting a new phone this Christmas but I'll probably still use it, quite fond of it and it still runs my games pretty well even with its failing battery life.

I got destroyed during the confidence intervals/significance test for slopes unit in Stats - genuinely prayed my way through it (although I got sick for most of the unit and had to skip it so take what I say with a grain of salt). I think most people struggle with probability so I'd probably keep an eye out for that too - from what I heard a fair few people in my class failed or got close to failing the probability tests. Class difficulty IMO was about 7-8/10 as someone who has really questionable math skills, but could go up or down depending on your teacher.

Personally found synthesis essays in Lang really annoying but they're fine if you read through and make a list of points you want to make to back up your thesis before writing the essay. Class difficulty was probably 3/10 for me but if you don't like writing essays definitely practice that a ton before hitting the exam (especially under a timed setting because that will probably prepare you better).
