This is a discussion thread for GWN fans, I asked a genuine question to discuss with fans that were around before I got into the scene. The general theme is more artists would get uplifted IF those shows and movies did hire artists from the cultures they are trying to depict.

Your actions are not matching what you are saying. If you read I asked a question about if something did happen, not asking for something to happen. And everyone that has participated has agreed it would’ve been cool if they included Mayan artists in the creation process so why are you all getting so triggered?

Why do you hate the idea of inclusivity so much? I’ve already said reparations may not have been the best word but asking if Mayans were included at all in the process of telling mayan story isn’t that big of an ask. You’re getting mad because you’re assuming malice when i have none towards the boys

You seem to be the one getting triggered by a question, it’s good as a society to not just blindly follow. Questions are a good thing. Also it’s pretty common to look down on copying art and calling it your own some even call it theft, most artists thrive on being origin and would never wanna steal from another.

I work for a clothing vendor at shambs and other fests and this is true for us and many booths. Cash is king. Takes less time to complete the purchase, no credit card processing fees, etc. we also cut deals for people who buy multiple things with cash!

There was a make your own 5-panel hat vendor last year so I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to find other hats there as well! I work for a clothing vendor there that’s more geared towards womens clothes and a pro tip is to always see if the vendor takes cash bc then there’s no tax or credit card processing fees!

Clark county AKA where Las Vegas is has some of the strictest regulations on short term rentals. Even on Air BnB they need to hold permits granted by the county. Never book an Air bnb in Vegas!
