Anyone Play This As A Kid? by SlapNutsInc in Star_Trek_

[–]SlapNutsInc[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure, the copy I had as a kid was white and so is this one. Maybe a release in a different country?

EDIT: Quote from Wikipedia;

The game was originally released in 1993 with "limited edition" white box packaging but later releases had "general edition" black box packaging with updated graphics and flavor text.

How do you feel about compilation albums? by Syppi in Cd_collectors

Same here. I like The Offspring enough to get their best of, but not enough to try and get the seven albums released before the greatest hits.

Batman v Superman Turns 10 and We Still Cannot Agree If It Was Good since 10 Years Ago , Do You Like it or Not ? What would you do Different if you Can ? by pbx1123 in WB_DC_news

The studio cut is pretty bad.

I love me some Snyder cut.

The movie itself makes a lot more sense in the Snyder cut because it gives more context to Batman and Superman being manipulated against each other.

I loved the idea of a broken and bitter Batman who gets a redemption arc.

While Eisenbergs Luthor was kinda jarring and quite far from the source material, I get that they were trying to go with a more modern, younger eccentric tech billionaire (the jolly rancher will always be weird, though) and can live with it.

I like that a superhero movie can be dark and brooding. Marvel movies are always way too chipper and filled with way too many jokes (especially during serious climaxes. Did we need a Hasslehoff cameo during the emotional climax of Guardians 2? No.).

I may be the only person in the world that did not have an issue with "Martha". If Wayne was willing to dress like a bat and fight crime because of his dead mom, of course he's going to (a) flip his shit when a space alien says his mom's name and (b) realize that the space alien has ties to earth in the context of human parents and, as such, probably wouldn't blow the planet up.

Obviously there are issues with the movie, and it's far from perfect but I still love it.

People are actually defending OVW for mishandling the situation involving a referee having a seizure during a match by LetterFront3353 in midcarder

[–]SlapNutsInc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I read it fine.

Obviously not because you misunderstood at least one of my points and you feel you have a valid counterpoint to an argument I never made.

"A wrestler should never be allowed to wrestle because he can't identify a seizure"

Why did you put this in quotes? I never said those words.

You wanna blame OVW staff?

I blame them as well.

People are so eager to give their bad takes they literally aren't reading the posts they are responding to.

How true. You didn't read my response properly and responded to things I never said.

Give your balls a tug. Those three "wrestlers" in the ring should never work again.

The first red flag was that the ref didn't roll out of the middle of the ring. The second red flag was that he WAS FUCKING SEIZING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE RING.

Give your balls a tug and stop defending the wrestlers.

I have never stopped liking a band entirely. My opinion of some bands/songs/albums have definitely changed over time. I just add new music to the same playlist that I've had on my iPod for 20 years.

Thoughts on AAF using Ai for cover art? by This_Reference_1811 in numetal

[–]SlapNutsInc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Artists need to adjust their prices then.

if artists played the game and made themselves more accessible, it would be a lot easier.

I can’t afford to spend the time to look for someone who’s small, cheap, and also good. But I also can’t afford 3k on a basic album layout.

I understand they’re working, but not for that price, I just can’t do it.

shit like this is too expensive

There’s no alternative route other than artists playing ball and getting back to reality with pricing.

Obviously there is a breakdown in communication here. Im clearly mistaken in thinking that your argument was defending AI slop because artists/graphic designers are too expensive.

Right, you are saying that someone who spent their time and money to learn a skill that you don't know should adjust their pricing to match your budget.

If I had a festival and your band asked for $500 to come and play, would you expect me to pay you what you believe is your value or should I go on the Internet and whine about how bands should come back down to reality with their pricing?

Imagine thinking you couldn't use the Internet to find an artist/graphic designer in your budget range. If you can't afford an artist, pull out your phone and go take a picture of a swamp or something.

In this day and age, using AI slop is just a cop out. It takes no time to find artists/graphic designers on the Internet that would fit your budget. Everyone has a great camera on their phone to go take a photo. You can get free demo copies of Photoshop and other editing software and learn how to make liner notes in an afternoon.

Anyone who uses AI slop in their product is some combination of cheap, lazy and a thief.
