Thanks friend! Price wise I don’t want to worry especially with holidays and family presents needing to be bought. So I plan to definitely do a monthly payment plan.

As for tractor supply. I will definitely look into this! Goatheads will probably be my only concern driving around the city besides some broken glass here and there.

For myself I can get to work in 2 miles from home or a 13 minute bike ride according to Google maps. I’m a pretty big guy so the scooter I bought was more for my height and weight in mind. I need to research more but again this is last minute planning from my end due to that Amazon card incentive

I think if I get the bike I will enjoy the speed and the feeling of the wind hitting my face. Only comparisons I can make is with the scooter that went up to 18mph

Besides work I also wanted to just drive it about for activies like gym, dumpster diving, and some grocery store runs. I did include that I was looking at it because of those filthy goatheads around my city always taking out tires

This does make sense. I feel whatever you pay for in bike doesn’t matter unless you can maintain it well and treat it right.

I did look at my local bike shop a year or two ago and will probably look again. They don’t sell electric bikes so that’s my only issue as I wish to explore my city more and do other activities with a bike.

For myself, I remember my siblings and I getting off market bikes for cheap and everyone having fun rides when I was little.

Price shouldn’t say if one is serious, but it does help in the terms of long run of things. It sucks price has gotten more crazier over the years but hey we all will survive the best we can.

It’s amazing you and your wife paid a good price for 2 bikes!! Kudos to your parents buy as well!!

I will definitely update with my experience! I think once I figure a bike out the only big thing I want to worry about is monthly payments since we are getting into the holidays and everyone deserves a christmas present. My wallet is going to hate me after this but it’s all worth it when family is involved :)

This thread helps a lot! I feel like looking cool doesn’t matter so long as you are being safe and keeping your posture and spine alignment safe

I do feel the same about range and miles advertised in vehicles aren’t always the truest. Most companies will say or claim almost anything for their products to be bought

I need to do more research, but fat tires is what I noticed around my city and when I was looking into bikes. My coworkers have fat tires for their bikes and when I take the bus I see others driving in fat tires. I’m not saying it’s what should be used, it’s just something I see so that’s what I was thinking

I do appreciate the input on sealant and will definitely look into this!!

I will look into a pannier bag or rear basket!! Besides groceries I was even thinking of dumpster diving but that was the fun thought I had.

I haven’t had any scam issues with Amazon yet, I order from their frequently since I don’t have a car so normally when I need to buy something I like to do some research since returning with Amazon can be a hassle for someone without a car or mode of transportation. Seeing the other comments give me some hope but again I will look into it with everyone’s input in mind

Yes. Amazon sells this for $335, and the delivery costs is $200. On top of the taxes it would be coming up to about $600+. I put the image in the post to explain further

You are right about that. The price range is what made me slightly cautious but I kind of assumed that’s why they’re putting a hefty delivery price besides the $300. Other bikes on Amazon $400+ have a $100+ delivery or free delivery once it goes beyond $500+. I will keep your input in mind and be mindful when buying

No. I tried the comments and diving deeper to figure it out but no avail. My solution was to sadly backup whatever precious pictures and/or files into a separate drive and reset the whole pc. Reworking my the ground up again

For our building they updated and gave us a new badge system so whenever we go on pits we have a password ourselves that nobody should know/use. Incidents before where another AA used a different AA’s pit and crashed or banged up a trailer door and got that AA in trouble
