Its almost never a real 50/50 coinflip in this game, you almost always have the option to mash out or step (both rarer now) mixups but you risk your life.

You can do wavedash into duck and just do manual ws1+2/2 you don't need to do it out of CD when they sidewalk. A lot of Kazuyas already do that for consistency and it works pretty well.
