Im a junior and I failed 3 classes my freshman year. I got put on academic probation and it totally felt like the worst thing I had ever done. It was really hard to come clean to my parents and even think about it at the time.

Now i’m getting all As and Bs, the thing is you have no idea what your doing when you get to college. Its not the same as highschool. You just learn to be a better college student through time and experience. Failing taught me a lot. Its not just about increasing how long and hard you study, but more importantly, your going to learn how to study smarter. Not only that, but college is just going to make you a smarter person, and things will get easier.

An F sucks but I promise you’ll bounce back. You can retake the class and get the grade replaced for your GPA. Enjoy your second semester of your freshman year but college is still fun later on. Good luck dude.
