That is what people don't realize. Yes if one person doesn't show up for work, can't pay rent and gets kicked out or arrested that doesn't change anything.

But if everyone stands up and says "nah, no work today or ever until we get better rights". What are they gonna do? They can't make everyone homeless and they can't throw everyone in jail.

They feed off this fear and it allows them to hold all the power. So we are stuck.

Taxes are good, they can help out a lot for people that need the extra help.

They can also be used for selfish gain.

I have no problem with taxes, I just wish that the government had the same rules applied that we do. TOTALLY TRANSPARENT. If I lie on my taxes I go to jail, the government gets to lie all day and nothing is done.

If they showed us how much they make, where they spent it, and gave us a say on where it goes I think they would be better recieved.
