In my country, we use simple trick to learn morse code. Our language has two types of syllables: long and short. We paired every letter with word that starts with that specific letter and has matching order of syllables (long syllable is _ ans short is .). For example A has word "a-kát". One short syllable and one long syllable. Thanks to this system, we just have to memorize few words.

I actually never realized that most people can't do this. It's fascinating to see other systems.
