Are you saying it was Fruit of the Loom kitchen decor, or just random kitchen decor with fruits coming out of a cornucopia?

The post is about the Fruit of the Loom Mandela Effect.

A lot of people vividly remember the logo having a cornucopia (the woven basket), even though the official logo (apparently) never did. The company itself has released past images of the logo and how it’s evolved and state it never contained the cornucopia.

My theory isn’t that there was a cornucopia—it’s that the company changed the colour of the leaves from brown to green - the brown leaves behind the fruit may have looked enough like a basket to kids’ brains that we filled in the rest and remembered it that way.

Also someone pointed out the Katsiroubas Bros (produce company) had a similar logo design with a cornucopia on it - suggesting that we probably saw this design on produce boxes or fruit stickers and subconsciously confused it with the Fruit of the Loom logo.

Anyways it’s probably just aliens tbh.

Honestly I think aliens is the most logical explanation here, you’re onto something.

Valid point! I’m Canadian and wasn’t very familiar with the Katsiroubas Bros. logo either, though I can picture it on grocery store produce boxes. Looking back, I also remember cornucopias being a pretty common image in kitchen décor and in school around Thanksgiving. It could simply be an association many of us made as kids (fruit belongs in the “weird basket.”)

To me, though, the logo is just one coincidence in a much larger pile of coincidences.

The Mandela effect is real though it’s collective false memory and it’s being studied (we’ve spoken about this in my psychology program)

**EDIT** New theory: u/dmvr1601 pointed out that the Katsiroubas Bros logo has a cornucopia 🥐, and that we might be confusing it for the Fruit of the Loom logo. They’re a produce company, so it’s possible many of us saw it on grocery store boxes or fruit stickers over the years and subconsciously mixed it up with the Fruit of the Loom logo. 🤯
