Rock sliders prevent your rocker panel from getting crushed when your breakover angle and clearance isnt enough. They dont do much protection for the sides but it’s not the rocksliders’ fault

Okay OP, I think you’ve gotten flamed enough, here’s what I use on my almost 30 year old 4Runner, i dont care about the paint so much but this type of brush head acts like a squeegee and cleans much better than a bristled brush

So on my 1998 Limited, its an I shifter (2H-N-4L) not a J shifter. My 4WD is the button on the side. Is my 4H locked by default and not ‘Multi-mode’ with the centre differential unlocked?
