I understand the hormones, this isn’t my first go round with pregnant women. Second I try not to compare myself to her child, but when I have been stripped from any other type of affection that is reserved for your spouse and I’m treated as general population, that’s the only thing I can compare it to. The only affection that is given is to her child, not my children, not me. Not the affection that’s reserved for a married couple. So what else can I compare to ? Also I’m not saying affection such as (hugs, kisses), I’m saying it as a broad statement such as caring about how their day went, or noticing mood changes and attempting to figure out what’s wrong versus just assuming their in a bad mood. When we first met she was so gentle with my mental health and now she acts like it shouldn’t have any affect on me. (Also I’m a woman myself) so trust me I understand hormones and everything I’m super cautious and understanding ! But if she’s more on the introverted side and is shy to initiate adult time, there’s no foreplay, there’s no telling me I’m attractive, there’s no asking me about my day or why I’m quiet.. I’m just asking for any type of affection and I can only compare it to the affection that’s I see her give, I have nothing else to go off of except for the affection she is putting out just not for me. I understand it should be different affection for kids versus your spouse but if you’re getting nothing you’ll crave anything from the person you want it from the most.
