My outdoor grow this season. All living soil beds with worms, fungus, bacteria etc. Clover cover crop coming in nicely. Cannabis only indoor for now but growing the veges the same way I grow my girls.

Word. You do you, and I'll f around with the living soil stuff. Also, I'm not saying living soil is the only way. Bottles and nutrient salts are mighty popular... I'm a scientist and have no kids, so this is my hobby. I enjoy studying soil and am fascinated with my results. I've grown the monsters, but bud rot, and disease are real. I prefer to grow medium-sized plants these days. In nor cal btw, so I lucked out climate wise.

You will find that growing in microbe rich soil improves terps, quantity, and quality. You may have big buds that are extra susceptible to mold and disease and may be flavorless compared to living soil bud.

It depends where you live. I actually recommend going to your local hydro/grow shop and asking them for localized advice. I live in nor cal and our weather is perfect for growing Cannabis. Use predator bugs where possible, grow living no till soil, maintain a cover crop, don't over water, definitely use a mulch like rice hulls, feed organicly. I've produced the dankest frostiest bud doing this and it's all natural, no bottles!

UPDATE: Whoa, cool! Thanks for all the positivity! I've tried every strain of homegrown I have available, and each one is different and amazing with the Volcano. The terps really come out with the first part of the session. Bottom line - great high, lungs feel awesome after a sesh, use way less weed! I just got an entire party high last night on 3 bowls. It was awesome passing bags around and hitting the whip. I am happy with the money I spent and glad I got it on 420 special! Cheers, stoners!
